Josh Jacobs has signed a one-year contract with the Las Vegas Raiders

Another early-round pick revolt ended in nothing. Josh Jacobs has signed a one-year contract with the Las Vegas Raiders, under which he can earn up to $12 million, a purely symbolic increase over the $10 million franchise tag that Jacobs didn't want to sign. The player has returned to the team's location and is preparing for the season.

Jaguars-Dolphins preseason game suspended because of Daewood Davis injury

The Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Miami Dolphins matchup was not completed due to an injury to visiting receiver Daewood Davis.

After getting hit by a linebacker on one play, Davis was left lying motionless on the field. He left the field on a stretcher with the help of doctors.

Later, the NFL player was taken to the hospital, where he was able to move his fingers and toes.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers center Ryan Jensen has been placed on injured reserve and will miss the entire season.

What's more, it's because of an injury he suffered a year ago. Jensen's knee, after a severe injury (tearing all ligaments - lateral, anterior, meniscus and so on) is not responding to rehab properly.

This offseason, he occasionally showed up at practices, tried loads, but did not participate in games. There is a high probability that the player will not play in the NFL again.

C.J. Stroud has been announced as the Houston Texans' starting quarterback for the regular season.

While there wasn't much intrigue, head coach DeMeco Ryans waited until the very end of the preseason - all other teams had already officially decided on their starting QBs.

In 8 preseason drives, the No. 2 pick in the 2022 draft completed 11 of 18 passes for 89 yards with a touchdown and an interception. His understudy will be last year's Houston starting quarterback Davis Mills.

Bears have waived backup quarterback P.J. Walker

The Chicago Bears have waived backup quarterback P.J. Walker.

Walker, 28, who signed a two-year, $4.15 million contract in March ($2 million guaranteed), lost competition to undrafted rookie Tyson Bagent and the more experienced Nathan Peterman.

The Pittsburgh Steelers have sent offensive lineman Kevin Dotson to the Los Angeles Rams

As part of the deal, the teams traded draft picks - the Steelers received a 4th round pick in the 2024 draft and a 5th round pick in the 2025 draft, while the Rams received a 5th round pick in the 2024 draft and a 6th round pick in the 2025 draft.

Dotson was Pittsburgh's starting left guard all of last season, but the team acquired former Philadelphia Eagles player Isaac Seumalo in the offseason. The roster depth at the position allowed Pittsburgh to defer the lineman to the Rams, who have a personnel deficit.
