Trevor Lawrence, Clemson's third QB chosen in the first round of the NFL Draft

After being selected by the Jacksonville Jaguars, Trevor Lawrence became the seventh Clemson University QB to reach the NFL via the NFL Draft, the third in the first round and the first in Tigers history chosen in the first overall pick.

The most recent was Deshaun Watson, who in the 2017 event was taken by the Houston Texans 12th overall.

Remember Tajh Boyd? Well it turns out he was the Clemson QB selected prior to Watson, this was in 2014 by the New York Jets in a sixth round pick (213th overall).

Another Tigers QB who was selected in the first round was Steve Fuller (QED), taken by the Kansas City Chiefs at 23rd overall, incidentally, part of the Chicago Bears team that won Super Bowl XX.
