2024 NFL Free Agency: Trades, Contracts and latest Signings

Let's go over the quarterbacks. Kirk Cousins has signed a 4-year, $180 million contract ($100 million guaranteed) with the Atlanta Falcons and has once again perfectly exploited his status as the top available passer on the market.

Jacoby Brissett has landed with the Patriots as expected, Gardner Minshew has joined the Raiders in a slightly less expected move, the Jets have brought in Tyrod Taylor to be Aaron Rodgers' backup, and the Vikings are trying to ease the pain of losing Cousins by signing Sam Darnold.

I've always said that Darnold is a top-tier quarterback who has just been misused! We See Ghosts.

The Giants have pulled off the biggest trade of the offseason so far, acquiring edge rusher Brian Burns from Carolina. Moreover, New York gave the defender a $150 million contract ($87.5 million guaranteed). We are witnessing the failure of the Panthers: a year ago they gave up two first-round draft picks for Burns, now the team has given him up for a second and a fifth. And they didn't even keep a normal compensation and didn't get a normal compensation.

Incredibly profitable days for running backs. Apparently, this is due to the fact that there is not a rich selection of running backs expected in the upcoming draft.

Washington Commanders gave Austin Ekeler $11 million for 2 years, Tennessee Titans gave Tony Pollard $24 million for 3 years, Chicago Bears gave D'Andre Swift $24.5 million ($15.3 million guaranteed), Green Bay Packers gave Josh Jacobs $48 million for 4 years ($12.5 million), and Philadelphia Eagles gave Saquon Barkley $37.8 million for 3 years ($26 million). How many tears the guys shed a year ago in a joint Skype call! It was all worth it.

I know you're most interested in reading about offensive linemen, but you'll have to wait. I hope to be able to enter all the signings into the corresponding trackers by noon. I'll write when I update them and give you the links.
